You cannot outsource your security to a system.
Early in my career, I did everything I was supposed to do. I got the degree, followed the rules, and landed a great tech job in Midtown Manhattan. I was on the "Conveyor Belt."
Then, on a random Monday morning, I was handed a box and told my role was "impacted."
Riding the subway home to Brooklyn that afternoon, terrified about how I was going to pay my rent, I realized a harsh truth that changed the trajectory of my life: the safe path is an illusion. Doing everything "right" is no longer a guarantee of security or fulfillment. When you wait for a corporation to dictate your value, you are operating as a passenger in your own life.
"I don't trust systems to secure my future; I prepare myself to create my own opportunities. Preparation is the highest form of faith."
That moment of crisis became the foundation of the Life Design Institute. I realized that success in the modern economy is not handed to you, it must be architected.
